Note: You must be assigned the BI Publisher Developer role or BI Publisher Administrator role to create or edit reports.

1. Login into your Oracle BI Publisher instance.

2. Go to desired folder on the Reports page (My Folders or Shared Folders). Select Create a new report link.


3. Enter report name, then push Create button.


4. After Report creating select Edit link.


5. Go to Layouts page. Select XSL template file to fill Upload Template field. Push Upload button.


6. After Template uploading push New button.


7. Fill Layout fields as described below. Choose XSL Stylesheet (XML) template type. Then push Save button.
